7th Council
We are shaping our decade.
MMI has grown tremendously over the past 7 years. Our goal this term was simple. One, restructure the way our organisation functions internally and between councils. We sought to improve working relations between councils through encouraging more inter-council projects. Two, exhibit a global unified brand. The Executive Council now plays a pertinent role in all branding decision with all councils. Three, establishing advocacy as a major platform for MMI, and introducing policy-writing to our fellow Medics.

The Executive Council of 2019/2020
The Executive Council of 2019/2020 is made up of 13 Executive Committee Members and the Presidents and Vice Presidents of MMI United Kingdom, MMI Malaysia, MMI Ireland, MMI Australia and MMI Doctors. In total, there are 23 Executive Council Members that oversee the governance of the organisation. MMI Young Medics remains as a Chapter Council under the purview of MMI Malaysia. The Executive Council also oversees new chapter establishments.
Structure of the Executive Committee 2019/2020
The Executive Committee of 2019/2020 have 5 main offices, Administrative & Publication, Treasury, Advocacy, Creative and Information Technology. The Executive Committee oversees all strategic long-term partnerships and affiliations, Branch Council affairs. Chapter Council and Chapters. The Executive Committee hosts quarterly general meetings to engage with all Brach Council Presidents and Vice Presidents, to help keep updated about present issues.
