Every year, MMI recruits for ambassadors, representatives for their respective university, state or even country. Our Malaysia, United Kingdom, Ireland, and China Branch Councils are open to recruiting university ambassadors. We aim to expand our network, to include ambassadors for Russia, Poland, Indonesia and many more. Contact us.

University Ambassadors
Our country councils recruit university ambassadors from different institutions within the country every year.
Collectively, in the 2021/2022 term we have more than 45 medical institutions represented.

What do ambassadors stand to gain?
Skills
Opportunities to network with medical students from different institutions and abroad. MMI sets a global stage, providing opportunities to everyone for cross-collaboration with members of other councils. We promote running collaborative projects both internally and externally. Learning new skills that are essential.
Perspective
A perspective you will never get if not for this. Through various meetings and project discussions between institutions and branch councils, ambassadors stand to gain new perspective and experience. Working in a team will now require them to strike a balance between work and studies. A necessary juggle before adulting.
Advocacy
A chance to advocate for something they are deeply passionate about. Advocacy is an integral part of MMI. Through advocacy, ambassadors stand a chance in learning policy writing, running campaigns and meeting with all important stakeholders. All this for a better healthcare. At MMI, we hope to cultivate holistic healthcare leaders.

How to be an ambassador?
Typically, every university ambassador recruitment for all the branch councils (UK, Malaysia, Ireland, and China) takes place between July-September.
