About Us
Malaysian Healthcare Students Alliance (MHSA) is allied by three students' organisations in Malaysia, namely: Malaysian Dental Students' Association (MDSA), Malaysian Medics International (MMI), and Malaysian Pharmacy Students' Association (MyPSA).
MHSA a student-led, non political, and non-profit national level healthcare alliance that unites all healthcare students, forming a network and community of healthcare students across Malaysia. Together with MHSA, we endeavor for a better future of healthcare students across Malaysia.
Our Aims
Represent and advocate for the collective voice, roles, position, education and welfare of healthcare students in Malaysia.
Enhance public health and improve global health through collaborative efforts from all healthcare students in Malaysia.
Promote unity and strengthen the relationship between healthcare students in Malaysia.
Mission
To provide a centralised platform for the implementation of projects and activities for all healthcare students in Malaysia.
Vision
To unite and facilitate interprofessional collaboration between all healthcare professionals with various expertise, working towards multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.
MHSA Blood Donation Campaign 2021
Greetings everyone! 👋🏻
Owing to certain health conditions and medical interventions, we cannot deny the fact that there is a continuous demand for blood supply. Due to the government's intervention to combat the Covid-19 pandemic by initiating the Movement Control Order (MCO) and social distancing rules, the public is less likely to go to the blood centers. In addition to that, the arrangement of the blood drives has been debarred during this critical moment.
Therefore, the Malaysian Healthcare Students’ Alliance (MHSA) is organising a blood donation campaign online 📲 in collaboration with National Blood Center (PDN) throughout this month in conjunction with the World Blood Donor Day 2021✨. In order to raise awareness on the importance of blood donation and to educate the healthcare students about the general knowledge 🧠 of blood donation, a series of educational posters will be posted🤓. An online quiz competition will also be held to engage participants and test their knowledge on blood donation facts🧾.
Lastly, we'll be collecting photos from the blood donors! 📸 Anyone who donated their blood throughout this month is welcomed to send their photos of donating blood/ certificate to @chiefeditor.mdsa@gmail.com 📧 from 1/6/2021 to 25/6/2021 to get involved in our closure poster🌷

Celebrate World Health Day with MHSA
Good day! World Health Day is celebrated on April 7 every year. Over the past years, World Health Day has brought attention to many important health issues such as mental health, antimicrobial resistance and food safety.
To celebrate World Health Day 2021, the Malaysian Healthcare Students Alliance (MHSA) formed between MDSA, MMI and MyPSA, released an interprofessional healthcare video project entitled “Towards Unity for Interprofessional Healthcare Students”. Students from each healthcare field were interviewed to collect different perceptions of pharmacy, medical and dentistry students on current world health issues, the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on students’ learning process and their viewpoints on interprofessional healthcare and patient-centred care.
Through this program, we hope to clear the misconceptions that pharmacy, medical and dental students have about each other and promote unity between interprofessional healthcare students. In conjunction with World Health Day, let us take this opportunity to appreciate the different roles of each healthcare professional in achieving better patient-centred care.

Malaysian Dental Students’ Association
Established in 2013, to unite all dental students in Malaysia under one official body. MDSA was founded by a group of enthusiastic senior dental students and young graduates from a number of local and foreign universities, with several aims in mind: to promote networking and communication between dental schools, to establish its credibility as the only national organization that represents the interests of dental students among the Malaysian dental community and among potential sponsors.
Malaysian Pharmacy Students’ Association
Established in 2006. A student-led, non-political national level organisation representing pharmacy students in Malaysia, which is concerned entirely with the advancement of pharmacy education and pharmacy profession amongst pharmacy students nationwide. MyPSA consolidates the various local pharmacy students’ societies under one association, forming a network and community of pharmacy students across the country.
