Menurut statistik terkini Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), kes bunuh diri daripada 18 Mac sehingga 30 Oktober dilaporkan berjumlah 266 kes.

A Journey to Discovery for aspiring medical students
“Malaysian Medics International (MMI) Young Medics is inviting aspiring medical and health professionals to attend their upcoming initiative called Journey to Discovery.
A part of their East Coast Outreach Programme (ECOP), the event will take place on June 22 at SMK Air Putih in Kuantan, Pahang.
Journey to Discovery aims to enlighten pre-medical students on career pathways and to dispel any doubts on their future options upon completing medical school…..”

6,000 new doctors every year, not enough jobs
“PETALING JAYA: A non-profit medical organisation has called for a review of the contract system for doctors in public hospitals, and the lack of propects for advancement to becoming specialists.
Malaysian Medics International (MMI) voiced concern over the increasing number of doctors every year, and the lack of job placements leading to some medical officers being offered contract positions thus depriving them of becoming specialist doctors…..”

“KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian students in the United Kingdom and Ireland are pleading for the Malaysian government to take firm and decisive action to ensure their safety while still in the region amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
In an open letter to the High Commissioner of Malaysia Datuk Mohamad Sadik Kethergany, dated March 26, the student leaders - representing several student organisations - highlighted their plight and appealed for the embassy to act now….”
