It all started with two Malaysians studying in the United Kingdom. Born in 2013 and officially registered with the Registry of Society in 2014, Malaysian Medics International is a medical-student led organisation, based in Malaysia.
MMI organises local projects and flagship events every year. Our events range from specialties-based topics to issues on workplace culture. We are a dedicated professional platform for students to connect, educate and cultivate.

It all begins with an idea. Our founders studying in the UK felt the need to connect with the Malaysian healthcare system in order to understand the structure and function. There, it paved the way to future Malaysian Medical Student Summit. “Medicine in Malaysia” Conference was the first MMI conference organised on 16th and 17th August in 2014.
