+ What online platform will be used for the summit?

We will be using Zoom. It is free to download and easy to use. For the Public Viewing sessions, the Zoom session will be utilised and it will be broadcasted live on our Facebook page as well.

+ What is in the conference package?

The list includes but not limited to: Supplementary summit booklet detailing specific information to address for this Summit, lanyard, tourniquet, pentorch, treatment flashcards (for lanyard), and many more!

+ Is there a dress code for this virtual summit?

The dress code is smart casual. It is said that wearing a clean and neat wear increases our productivity especially during this pandemic!

+ What is the Pre-Summit series and is it compulsory for me to join?

The Pre-Summit series is a 3-day course spread out over 2 weekends that introduces attendees to public speaking, advocacy and policy, and drafting a memorandum. The memorandum will be collectively drafted by all attendees and it will be presented during the General Assembly on Day 2 of MMS 2020. Only ticket holders are eligible to join Pre-Summit series, and we encourage you to be part of this as a stepping stone to major progress in our medical fraternity. + How do I join the workshops in Pre-Summit series?

You’re eligible to join the Pre-Summit series if you’ve purchased tickets to MMS before the 17th of July. Buy a ticket now!

+ What is General Assembly?

The MMI General Assembly (MMI GA) is a 2-hour gathering that involves a series discussions regarding current issues affecting our healthcare system. This year, our focus is on the Contract System of Doctors in Malaysia. Our goal of this Assembly is to produce a memorandum, which will be presented to relevant stakeholders. We hope that our advocacy will affect changes in the coming years. More information can be found here

+ Can I rewatch the session?

Yes, you can! Upon the purchase of your ticket, you are eligible to rewatch the talks that will be recorded during the summit and are available for you for 2 weeks. These will be sent to your emails a week after MMS 2020. Some of these sessions will also be aired on our Youtube channel.

Every attendee is encouraged to purchase a ticket with the conference package. All participants are required to display their name on their user account. Unauthorised attendees will be removed from the session by our dedicated host.

+ Do I have to turn on my video throughout every session?

For all of the discussions and keynotes, you will not be required to switch on your webcam. However, for workshops, Pre-Summit Series, and the General Assembly, we encourage you to switch it on for participation.
