Panel Discussion: Closing the Decade with COVID-19 in Retrospect
There were different challenges faced by the public health authorities and those in the public health sector. We would like to use this pandemic as a lesson and reference for our future should we ever face similar situations so that we know how to overcome the challenges to avoid the mistakes experienced during this crisis.
Panel Discussion: Post Pandemic: Battle of Specialties
This panel discussion is directly aimed at our medical students who are curious about the different types of medical specialty out there. We will be inviting the speakers to share their individual journeys in order for us students to get a little glimpse of what’s there to come in the future that we will face.
Keynote: Medical Education in the Next Decade
This keynote will be comparing the different structures of medical education across the globe. This is to give our medical students an idea of what our Malaysian medical education consists of and how we can benefit from it.
Panel Discussion: Medical Education of Different Culture in the Clinical Setting
This segment places a greater emphasis on the clinical experiences across different medical institutions around the world. We will engage with professors and doctors from countries such as Ireland, UK and Australia to discuss about their methods and principles of teaching in order to facilitate and complete the students’ hospital experiences before moving on to the internship setting.
Healthcare Student Leaders' Discussion- "My profession needs to be acknowledged. Here's why.”
Much of the work in patient-centred care do not only involve doctors but other allied health practitioners . We believe that every profession plays a role in healthcare, and they do not get enough recognition from the Malaysian community. This will be an online discussion with a panel of student leaders from different healthcare professions.

Transplant Medicine: Call For More Organ Donors
Introducing to the public on organ transplantation in Malaysia, process of organ donation, common ethical problem encounters before, during and after organ transplantation and medications used after the procedure. Through this segment, we urge the public to sign up themselves as organ donor after their family members who have been well-informed about their decision.
What’s Up with Anti-Vaxxers?
Addressing the importance of immunization to infants, how important it is for parents to get their child immunized up to date, the myth and fact of immunization and the current emerging vaccine-preventable disease (polio) in Malaysia and how polio affects children health in long term. Through this session, we hope to increase awareness among parents on immunization hence to provide adequate protection to their children’s health.

How competent is the current houseman? This keynote will discuss how to improve our competency starting from now as medical students.
Panel Discussion: Contract System in the Next Decade
An insight to the current Malaysia's contract system, and how will it probably be in the next decade and prepare you to the unknown of your future career as a medical officer (MO).
General Assembly
Be part of the collective voice! This year our concern is about the Contract System of Doctors in Malaysia. This is complemented with a pre-summit series that equip participants with the necessary skills for research and discussion.
Workshop Series
Student Segment
Participants will be separated into breakout rooms, engaging with speakers on a quick and insightful discussions about a topic of interest. Each student participant is to choose one topic per session from the options provided above.
Graduates Segment
Panel discussion unravelling the insights of being a doctor in Malaysia. During this segment, we’ll discuss more on the point of view of House Officers in a slot called “What I think of my specialist” and specialist’s point of view in the segment called “I am a specialist, we need HOs like this.”
Pre- Summit Series
An initiative under the Medical General Assembly to provide exposure and foundation to our delegates. Pre-Summit Series is designed to build up the momentum, as well as to prepare delegates with knowledge and skills. All delegates, both members of the floor and the table, will find the series beneficial
