A warm welcome to the 8th Malaysian Medical Summit, proudly presented by Malaysian Medics International.

As we emerge from the looming shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic, we find that the challenges of the past 2 years have taught us a number of important lessons - chief among these being a need to future-proof the healthcare system in Malaysia, as well as the need to prioritise the well-being and welfare of Malaysian health professionals. MMI has always prided itself on its strong culture of advocating for both - and the Summit is, to put it plainly, an extension of our usual aspirations. 

As always, we've placed Malaysian Medics International's three pillars - to Connect, Educate and Cultivate - at the heart of what we're hoping to achieve through the Summit. Our team has curated an itinerary that will do just that - whether you're more interested in current developments or future trends in the Malaysian healthcare landscape, MMS will have something to keep you enticed and engaged!

• Learn about how you can make the most of student research opportunities, and how you can help contribute to the future of medical research in Malaysia

• Tune in to an engaging debate surrounding workplace cultures in Malaysian medicine

• Gear up for the 3rd General Assembly, where you will help prepare a memorandum of understanding on the Well-being and Welfare of Junior Doctors in Malaysia, to be sent to the Malaysian Ministry of Health!
