These past few weeks, our hospitals and healthcare workers have been receiving oodles of praises and gratuities for their effort in curbing Covid-19.

We have been praised and acknowledged for our tenacity in identifying and managing patients with Covid-19. Our healthcare workers have been officially branded superheroes.
The government is boosting funding for healthcare. Seniors and retired staffs are being called back to support service provision.
Private hospitals are supporting by lending equipment, manpower and service.
We even have the general public volunteering to procure protective equipment for healthcare workers.

Do all these reflect the strength or weakness of our nation's healthcare system?

We will be talking to Mr. Azrul Mohd Khalid, CEO of The Galen Centre for Health & Social Policy, on how Covid-19 is exposing the strengths and weakness of our healthcare system.

Do check out this very interesting session, happening on the 30th of March 2020, 8pm on MMI Doctors Facebook Livestream.
