Meet our first speaker for our “Specialty Applications Talk series” - Dr Kok Wai Chin !

Dr Kok Wai Chin qualified from Norwich Medical School (UEA) in 2018, during which he achieved an intercalated Masters of Research, comparing different revascularisation strategies in ST-elevation myocardial infarction.

He completed his foundation training in 2020, having rotated through district general hospitals and tertiary centres within the South Yorkshire deanery. Through his training he has accrued experience from a range of specialties including stroke medicine, cardiology, acute medicine, general surgery, intensive care medicine and geriatric medicine. He is currently an ACCS trainee based in the North West of England.

Here’s our second speaker for our “Specialty Applications Talk series” - Dr Jian Ying Quek!

Dr Jian Ying Quek completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Dundee in 2018. She went on to train in Edinburgh for her foundation years, rotating through a range of specialties including general medicine, colorectal surgery, respiratory medicine, critical care and neurosurgery. She is currently a Core Anaesthetic trainee with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
