MMI Conversations My patient may have been abused.jpg

Various reports have shown an increase in domestic violence cases throughout the MCO period.

Lockdown or not, as a doctor, we will come across patients who may have been physically abused. It is important that we know what to do in such circumstances.

This MMI Conversation series brings you Dr Muhamad Zaid Mutti, a medical ethics lecturer and Ms Mayna Patel from All Women's Action Society (AWAM) to discuss a doctor's role in managing abuse cases and how we could bridge the gap between NGOs and our healthcare services to provide better care and comfort for victims of abuse.

Tune in this Saturday, 6 March on our FB Live at 8pm.
