Let us welcome our next speaker on the list,
Gan Xhi Yan!

He will hold a FB live session to talk on

“To Do, or Not To Do Medicine?” 💭

Currently Gan is a 4th year medical student in Universiti Malaya (UM) who is committed in both academic 📚 and leadership 🏅 roles. Everyone has 24 hours in life, and he utilize every precious second in order to get things done and be productive. His roles are switching rapidly, from a medical student 👨‍🎓 in white coat to a student leader in his uniform, from a hardworking medical student to a dedicated student activist, his university life has gained him lot of experiences. He was an alumni of Muar High School and has completed his pre-university study in Malacca Matriculation College (KMM). He had involved in leadership roles such as being the President of Demokrat UM (2019/2020) and Vice President of Chinese Language Society (2017/2018).

Giving back to the societies is his ultimate motivation in such a hectic life. As a medical student, he thought sharing medical infos in both online and offline platforms is the best way for him to contribute to the medical field.

Hence, Gan will be with us on this Thursday (9th April 2020) @8pm (GMT+8) to share his experience with future aspiring doctors, hoping that those will continue to dream high.

Follow our MMI Young Medics Facebook page to get notified about the live session.

We hope you’re as excited as we are in what he has to share with us !
