Medicine Beyond BorderS (MBBS) 2023
Pursuing medicine is a transformative experience, and proper preparation can make all the difference. Recognizing this, Malaysia’s very first annual national pre-medical and medical conference, Medicine Beyond BorderS (MBBS) 2023, organised by MMI Young Medics, was unfolded on the 19th of August 2023.
This prestige event, which took place at the International Medical University (IMU), emerged as a beacon of guidance for aspiring medical professionals.
Getting Into Medical School 2023
Medical school admissions are tough. When you have finally submitted all your documents, you couldn’t really take a sigh of relief as you are anticipating your interview invitation.
We understand how nerve-wracking it is, hence our annual flagship event, Getting Into Medical School (GIMS) is here to lend you a helping hand. It is held virtually by MMI Young Medics, from 2nd June 2023 to 4th June 2023.

MMI MAID 2020, The 6th
MMI Making An informed Decision is an annual flagship event under MMI Young Medics that began in 2015. It is intended to help young medical enthusiasts who are in their pre-university programs decide on whether a medical career is what they ultimately want. This year’s MAID will be held at UKM Medical Centre. For the first time, participants will have the opportunity of visiting a anatomy museum and dissection hall. Join us for an insightful day!
Malaysian Medical Summit 2018: The Bigger Picture
With the theme “THE BIGGER PICTURE” for 2018, we aspire to encourage medical students and practitioners to come along in a platform, zooming out our perspective together on issues that are often overlooked such as policy-making and financial matters, and also taking a step further with medical specialising issues through a series of panel discussion, workshop and hands-on activity.
MMS 2018 is set to take place on 18th and 19th August 2018 at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.
