1. Wong Thai Ling is currently a 4th year medical student in University of Edinburgh. She has thoroughly enjoyed her life as a medical student and clinical experience has definitely enhanced her interest. She is the Events Director of MMI UK and has been involved in the planning and organising of various MMI UK events. She was awarded a silver medal🥈 for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. She plays 6 graded musical instruments🎶 - which includes Gu Zheng (Chinese Harp) and Yang Qin, was a violist at Sarawak State Symphony Orchestra and also have a distinction in Advanced Certificate Singing examination from Trinity College London. Sports🤸🏻♀️have always been her hobby, she is a badminton player for her university team. She’s happy to share her experience and answer any of your questions!
2. Clayton Yang is a 3rd year medical 🏥 student from Imperial College London. University is the best time of his life and he is certainly enjoying it. This year will be his first clinical year and it has been by far the most interesting year where students are actually learning proper “doctor” stuff. He will be starting his intercalated degree next year focusing on research skills. He have been part of MMI UK since the beginning, taking on various roles from seeking ponsorship to organizing events . He has helped to organise medical conferences both in London and Dublin where they invited various speakers for various specialties to give students more insights into their respective careers. He also achieved distinction grades 📝 in all his pre-clinical years, and is happy to share his experiences about the application process to medical university and offer guidance on how to make your application the most successful it can be !
